Evan's Fishing Adventures!

From the words of six-year old, Evan:

This tripletail was caught in the shipping channel, offshore, next to a buoy. At first, I was site casting with a lure to the tripletail. He was trying to eat it, but was smelling for food. He didn't bite the lure. So, I cut off the lure, and I tied a #2/0 circle hook to my line. I put a piece of squid on my hook and site casted right to the fish. Bam! He ate it! The fight went so fast! I got it in a split second. We checked it's size. It was 17". My dad estimated that it would be under the limit, but it was a legal catch!

I was SO HAPPY!
